We were down at Sand Lake, just north of Pacific City, camping on the beach (far away as possible from all the ATV's - it's a very popular sand sports location, not really our scene, but it means that the non-motor vehicle side of the beach was our own private campground!)
We ended up not being able to use our fireworks, and we got a fine for having alcohol (AFTER we were told that we were fine if we weren't on the motor vehicle side) but it was a really great time. The weather was gorgeous, and it's always nice to be around a campfire.
